This is River, the inspiration for it all. River was the horse I didn't know I needed but has allowed me to grow in my horsemanship, as myself, and let me chase so many dreams that I never thought possible. Covid kinda threw a wrench in our barrel racing dreams, mixed in with a freak accident so now we enjoy spending time at home riding the trails, improving our horsemanship and pretending like we have a barrel race to go to.
River is full of personality and likes to keep every day interesting. He channels his inner Chestnut Thoroughbred Mare personality frequently and loves to give 110% everyday. He will never say no to treats and loves grazing the big pasture with the cows.
I thought I had my heart horse growing up, but River has shown me that there is always room and just because we had one special horse already, we are in fact deserving of another one.
