Meet Jessica & Rowdy

I had the pleasure of meeting Jessica and her incredible partner, Rowdy, last fall for our Horse & Rider Session. From the moment we started talking, it was clear that their story was one of dedication, partnership, and true cowgirl grit.

Over the years, Jess and Rowdy have climbed the ranks in the Ranch Riding world, traveling across Canada and the U.S. to compete. Their hard work and determination have paid off, earning them qualifications for multiple World Shows and some impressive placings along the way.

When planning our session, Jess expressed how important it was to showcase not just their success in the show pen, but also the special bond they share beyond the arena. That connection was at the heart of every image we created.

We took our time during the session, moving at a pace that kept both Jess and Rowdy relaxed and comfortable. And of course, we couldn’t leave out Jess’s sweet pup – who made a special shoot, even more special.
