CB Winter Jackpot Series – February 8, 2025

One thing I ACTUALLY like about winter is winter jackpot series. But you’re probably thinking – why?

Well to me as a photographer it is a chance to explore the arena in a different setting, try new things and experiment. It allows me some creative freedom without the stress of a big show. Exactly how would go to a winter jackpot with a young horse. You are there to let them see the sights and sounds of a big arena, get use to the banners or signs and not have the stress of a show environment. Its a period to learn, grow and try new things.

So it was great to head out to the CB Winter Jackpot Series this past weekend at Ancaster Fairgrounds. This is a stunning, state of the art facility is so much fun and has some really unique points that allow me as a photographer really explore my creativity.
